Farm Fresh Milk

Enjoy our award winning Farm Fresh Milk, packaged on farm in our unique eco-friendly pouch.

Our Farm Fresh Milk is as pure as nature intended, undergoing only homogenisation to evenly distribute the cream, and pasteurisation as required by Australian Health Regulations. We use traditional batch processing methods in order to achieve a ‘real’ milk flavour, the fresh flavour difference you will notice.

All of our products are free of ANY additives, including skim milk powder and permeate.

All of our products are GM free, as we choose only GM free grain suppliers at any time that we need to purchase grain off farm.

Our lower temperature pasteurisation method is a little slower than large commercial processors, as our milk is held at 65 degrees for a minimum of 12 minutes (unlike fast, high temperature pasteurisation of over 72 degrees for 15 seconds!). We believe the result is a better tasting milk with health benefits as many temperature sensitive nutritious milk proteins are unharmed at this lower temperature.

All Lite Milk

For many reasons the milk consumer of today is seeking the ideal low fat fresh milk product. At Bannister Downs we carefully researched the compromise between fat content and flavour when formulating our All Lite Milk.

Having only 0.8% fat certainly makes our All Lite Milk suitable for the diet conscious and those on limited fat intake.

Our All Lite Milk is processed identically to our Farm Fresh Milk, only that a portion of fat is removed at the separation stage. No other nutritious milk solids are taken from our All Lite Milk, and you will notice it has a ‘real’ flavour not normally associated with Low Fat Milk.

You will enjoy All Lite Milk for its flavour, and take comfort in knowing that it is a nutritious low fat milk.
